Hey there! I'm Yvette Nakamoto, a graphic designer and hand letterer based in Southern California. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts, San Francisco.

I am passionate about supporting others through visual problem-solving by transforming visions into realities. It’s always a rewarding experience to see a wide range of ideas come to fruition while working with freelance clients. Currently, I am responsible for  design-driven marketing direction a variety of projects that include in-store retail signage, customer invitations, publications, campaigns, and wholesale showroom displays at Brighton Collectibles.

In the past, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with  designers at Walt Disney Imagineering, Orlando, focusing on creating environmental graphics for Walt Disney World's theme parks.  I also worked with creative individuals at Disney Consumer Products, Burbank, where I contributed in developing assets for seasonal style guides.

During my free time, I enjoy brainstorming and developing new ideas for my shop @akemitoyoustudio, spending time with friends, or casting a line at Mammoth Lakes.
